About TCE

Damian Thorne graduated from Bolton Street DIT with an honours degree in Structural Engineering in 1998.

His first employment was with an engineering consultancy practice in Dublin and this was later followed by a move to practices in Dundalk and then Drogheda.

He became a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland in 2005, having gained extensive structural engineering experience in working with Reinforced Concrete, Precast Concrete, Structural Steelwork, Timber Frame, Loadbearing Masonry and Retaining Wall & Foundations.

He formed Thorne Consulting Engineers in 2010.
